A canal city, one short stretch at a time.
Tiller & Chill rents on the Intracoastal Waterway and the New River in Fort Lauderdale, in Broward County.
About the waterways
Greater Fort Lauderdale has 300 miles of inland waterways, and about 165 of them lie within the city of Fort Lauderdale itself. That is why it has a canal-city nickname, and why a sample rental company here asks first how experienced the group is.
The Intracoastal Waterway functions as a thoroughfare through Fort Lauderdale, much as A1A or US 1 do on land, and a boater could follow it all the way to Virginia. A Tiller & Chill rental stays within the area the crew shows on the chart.
Fort Lauderdale is known as the Yachting Capital of the World, as the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show shows. Most renters are not yachting experts, so an orientation at the dock comes before the keys.
Whether you are after a half-day bay boat or a captained sunset, the request starts the same way: tell the crew who is coming and when, and a person confirms the details. The chat drafts the request; it never prices a rental or holds a boat.

Tiller and chill, in that order. Nothing is booked or held until a person confirms by email or a call, no boat is held, and no payment is taken here.
