Your boat. Your pace. Orientation first.

Docking is a skill. We teach it before you need it. Send a request, a person writes back, and then you chill.

Tiller and chill, in that order.

How a request works

Three legs, no rush.

  1. Send a request

Use the chat or the form: the rental, a day and a backup, who is coming, their ages and who has boating experience.

  2. A person writes back

It arrives as one email at the dock. A person reads every line and confirms by email or a call. Nothing is booked or held until they do.

  3. Orientation, then keys

The crew goes through the paperwork and an orientation at the dock before the boat leaves the slip.

The rentals

Greater Fort Lauderdale has 300 miles of waterways. We suggest starting with a short stretch.

Orientation first

Docking is a skill. We teach it before you need it.

  • The paperwork

A short form at the dock. In this sample, renters sign a waiver at check-in.

  • The controls

Where everything is and what it does, with the crew beside you.

  • Docking and leaving a slip

Taught before you need it, because docking is a skill.

  • Signals, fuel and help

The signals, how fuel works and what to do if you want help.

The crew decides at orientation whether a self-drive rental suits you, and offers the captained option if it does not.

The crew

A dock manager who explains. A crew that writes back.

Dock manager Cole Brandt leads the orientation, with dock hands Andre and Priya. All three are part of a sample we invented. They check the paperwork, fit the life jackets and read every request.

Reviews

What renters wrote afterwards.

We had never driven a boat. The orientation was calm and thorough, and nobody rushed us off the dock.

Elena V.

Sent the request on a Saturday night and a person replied on Sunday morning with sensible questions about our group.

Patrick O.

Honest about the weather. They moved our afternoon and explained why.

Abigail S.

The Sunset Pontoon was right for my parents. Relaxed pace, and the crew was patient with questions.

Mohammed R.

We chose the Captained Option for my brother's birthday and simply enjoyed the ride.

Chloe B.

Clear about what was posted and what to ask. No surprises.

The waterways

A canal city, in two numbers and a bar.

Greater Fort Lauderdale has 300 miles of inland waterways, and about 165 of them lie within the city of Fort Lauderdale itself. The Intracoastal Waterway runs through it like a main road, and a boater could follow it all the way to Virginia.
