The crew

A crew that teaches on the shore first.

Three people, one dock and a lesson that comes before the first stroke. They are part of a sample we invented.

Lead instructor

Mina Okafor

Mina runs the lesson on the shore: how to get on, how to hold the paddle and what to do if you fall. She checks the tide and the wind first, and she is happy to answer the question you were not going to ask.

“Falling in is not failure. It is part of the lesson.”

Theo

Crew

Theo fits the life jackets and leashes, and walks each paddler to their board.

Sam

Crew and office

Sam reads the requests, checks them against the tide and the wind, and writes back. A real person, by email or a call.

Why the lesson comes first

The shore first. Then the water.

The crew fits your life jacket and leash, then runs a short lesson on the shore: how to get on, how to hold the paddle and what to do if you fall. In this sample, guests sign a waiver at check-in; a real operator sets its own.

Age rules and group sizes are posted at check-in. Put your numbers and ages in the request and a person will confirm what applies.

The dock

Where it starts.

Check-in is at the dock. A person confirms the meeting point and parking in their reply; details are not given in the chat.

The lagoon and the area

Send a request. A person writes back.

The water will wait. Nothing is booked or held until a person confirms by email or a call, and no payment is taken here.
