30 minHalifax River · Daytona Beach, Florida
Fast fun. Slow briefing.
Send a request. A person writes back. Then you get wet. The spray is optional; the briefing is not.
Rules are posted at check-in. Smiles are posted everywhere else.

How a request works
Three stops on the dock board.
Send a request
Use the chat or the form: the ride, a day and a backup, how many riders, their ages and who would drive.
A person writes back
It arrives as one email at the dock. A person reads every line and confirms by email or a call. Nothing is booked or held until they do.
Check-in
Paperwork, then the briefing. The chat’s job was done hours ago, and the spray comes after.
Rentals and rides
First time? Start with the Test Drive.
Three of the eight, with no prices on the page. The river is not going anywhere.

Rules are posted at check-in. Smiles are posted everywhere else.
Age and ID rules
Posted at check-in. The crew checks IDs there; the chat never does.
Who drives
Put the ages and drivers in your request. A person tells you what applies.
Life jackets
In this sample, one is worn on every ride and fitted at check-in.
The briefing board
How the machine works, where you may ride and what the hand signals mean.

The crew
A crew that gives the briefing before the key.
Head wrangler Jo Okafor leads the briefing at the dock, with dock hands Marcus and Elle. All three are part of a sample we invented. They check the paperwork, fit the life jackets and read every request.
Reviews
What riders wrote afterwards.
The briefing was thorough and unhurried. My brother and I felt looked after before we left the dock.
Sent the request at night and a real person emailed back the next morning. Clear on what we needed to bring.
First time on a jet ski. The Test Drive was the right call, and the crew never made me feel silly for asking questions.
Four of us, two machines, one tidy email thread. The crew handled the rest at check-in.
They were upfront about who could and couldn't drive, and kind about it. Rules posted, no arguments.
The river on a calm morning is a lovely place to be. Friendly staff and well organized.
Rooster Tail Jet Ski Co. is a sample we invented, and these reviews are part of the sample.
The river
Seven places, one river, and a briefing board.
The Halifax River flows south through the places on the strip, and meets the ocean at Ponce Inlet. Rooster Tail’s rides stay within the area the crew shows you on the briefing board.

The spray is optional. The briefing is not. Nothing is booked or held until a person confirms by email or a call, and no payment is taken here.
