Because half the calls are both. A condensate drain is a plumbing problem living inside an air conditioner. A gas water heater in a garage shares combustion air with whatever else is in there. A pan under an attic air handler drains through a secondary line that is a plumbing detail nobody looks at until it stains a ceiling. Sending two companies means each one gets to say it is the other one's.
We do not do septic, we do not do well pumps, and we do not do commercial rooftop package units. We will tell you that on the phone rather than send a truck to find out. There is nothing clever about turning up to a job you cannot finish and charging for the trip.
Neither are most people, and guessing is not your job. Describe what it is doing and we will work out what needs measuring.
