Who you're handing the keys to
THE SHOP, NOT THE STORY What's on the floor, how we work, and what we do when we get it wrong.
Every body shop's about page says family-owned and committed to quality. None of it is checkable. So here is the equipment, the standards we hold, and the one page in this trade nobody writes: what happens when the repair isn't right.
- Who owns it
- Owner-operated, on the floor most days. Not a chain, not private equity, and not on any insurer's direct-repair programme β so nobody upstream decides how your car gets fixed.
- How long we've been here
- Same building since 2009. The estimator who writes your file is the one you'll talk to at pickup β there is no handoff to a call centre.
- What if it's wrong
- It happens in every shop. Here is exactly what we do about it β in writing, before you need it.
What's on the floor
Equipment is checkable. A founder story isn't.
This is the part of an about page you can actually verify β walk in and look. If a shop won't show you its booth and its bench, that tells you more than any paragraph about values.
Everything above is visible on a walkthrough. Ask for one β a shop that says no has told you something.
How we work
Five commitments, each with the thing that makes it true
A promise with no mechanism behind it is a slogan. Each of these has the specific practice that would have to be abandoned for the promise to break.
- You approve before we proceed
- Not just at the start β at every supplement. The teardown photos reach you before the parts are ordered, and work stops until you answer. This is why our timeline says days, not hours.
- We don't take the car until the parts are here
- The industry norm is to take your car, then discover a back-order. We hold the booking and keep you driving until everything is on the shelf β a car sitting in our lot helps our numbers, not yours.
- The estimator who writes it is there at pickup
- One name, start to finish. Nobody hands you to a service writer who has never seen the car and can't answer why line 14 is on the bill.
- No direct-repair programme, deliberately
- DRP shops answer to the insurer's cycle-time and severity targets. We're not on any programme, which costs us referrals and is precisely why our only obligation runs to the car and to you.
- The file is yours
- Photos, measurements, part invoices and every signature, handed over whether you ask or not. It is what a future buyer, a future shop, or a dispute with an adjuster will need.
The part nobody writes
What happens when we get it wrong
Every shop has comebacks. A shop claiming otherwise is either new or not counting. What separates them is what happens next β so here it is in advance, before there's an argument to lose.
The colour isn't right
Bring it back. We re-spray at our cost, no argument and no second opinion required β if you can see it in daylight, it's wrong. Colour is the one thing where the customer's eye is the standard, not ours.
We missed the date
You hear it from us the day we know, not the day you arrive. If the delay is ours rather than a back-order or a supplement you're still deciding on, we cover the rental for the days we ran over.
The bill grew
It shouldn't have β nothing gets added without your approval first. If a line appears you never approved, it comes off. That is the whole reason approvals are in writing rather than over the phone.
Something's not right months later
Our workmanship warranty is for as long as you own the car, and it covers our work β not the next person's hit. Come in and we'll tell you honestly which one it is, even when the answer costs us the repair.
None of this is a legal document; it is how we run. Ask us to put any of it on your estimate and we will.
We deal with the insurer, not you
Estimate, adjuster, and every supplement when teardown finds what the first look missed. Start to finish you typically pay only your deductible.
You pick the shop,
not your insurer.
We're not on any direct-repair programme, so our only obligation is to your car and to you.
Trained for what's actually on the car
Modern panels are aluminium, bonded and full of sensors. A shop that trains for a 2005 sedan will repair your 2024 the same way and hand it back with a camera pointing three degrees off.
Certifications are re-verified, not framed once and forgotten.

Send a photo before you drive anywhere
Two or three photos of the damage and one of the whole car gets you a written range, usually the same day. It costs nothing, and it's the fastest way to find out whether we're the right shop for it.
