The fluid matters more than the brand
Modern automatics are specified down to a particular fluid. We use the one the manufacturer calls for. “Universal” fluid is cheaper for the shop and a risk to your gearbox.
Diagnosis before replacement
Harsh shifts, flare, and slipping can come from fluid condition, a solenoid, a sensor or the valve body long before the unit itself. Codes and live data during a road test separate them.
When it is bigger than us
If a unit needs to come out and be rebuilt, we will say so, and we will tell you what that costs against the value of the car rather than starting the job and finding out.
Tell us the symptom. We will tell you the next opening.
The chat takes the symptom and the vehicle, then hands it to the desk. It books appointments — it never tries to diagnose your car in a chat window.
