Prices on the wall

The menu price is the price. Extras are said before the clippers start.

Hot towel, every cut

A hot towel and a straight-razor neck on every haircut, at no extra cost.

Clean tools, every chair

Blades disinfected between every client, and a fresh neck strip every time.

Not sure what to ask for?

How do you want the sides?

That one answer decides most of the cut. Pick the closest and we’ll tell you what it’s called, what it costs and how long it takes.

A textured crop and skin fade seen through a ring light

$40 · about 45 minutes

Skin fade

Skin at the bottom, blended up into length on top. Say low, mid or high: low keeps more hair above the ear, high takes the skin well up the side. Bring a photo if you have one.

A finished pompadour from behind: tight on the sides, volume on top

$35–$38 · about 40 minutes

Taper or classic cut

Short at the neckline and sideburns, with a little hair left at the bottom. It grows out softer than a fade and needs a visit every three to four weeks rather than two.

Shaping coily hair with shears over a comb, warm light behind

$42 · about 45 minutes

Scissor cut

For length on top and at the sides, or for growing it out. We take less than you think, cut curly hair dry so it sits the way it will at home, and shape the in-between stage.

A side part with a taper and a groomed beard, side profile

$22 trim · $40 shave

Beard trim or hot-towel shave

Keep the beard and we take it down evenly and set the lines with a razor. Lose it and it’s the full hot-towel shave: forty minutes reclined with a straight razor.

The shop

Six chairs off Magnolia Row, and nobody rushing you out of one

Marcus opened Harlow & Pike in 2014 with two chairs and a borrowed mirror. It’s six chairs now, four barbers, and the same rule: the cut takes as long as the cut takes.

  • Walk-ins, always. A request just puts your name first in the queue.
  • Open Sundays, 10 to 3, because Saturday fills up.
  • Parking behind the shop, and a step-free way in.

Marcus has done my fade every two weeks for three years. Same blend every time, no lines, and he actually asks before he takes the top down. The hot towel on the neck at the end is the best part of my week.

First straight-razor shave of my life, before my brother’s wedding. Dre told me what he was doing at every step and went across the grain only where my skin could take it. Not one bump.

My son screams at every haircut. Tasha let him hold the comb, did the sides with scissors instead of clippers, and let me stand right next to the chair. He asked when he can go back.

Questions

Before you sit down

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, whenever a chair is free. Weekday mornings are usually quick. Saturday mornings fill up, so send a request if you would rather not wait; the shop texts you back to agree a time.

How much is a haircut in Kissimmee at Harlow & Pike?

A classic cut is $35, a skin fade $40, a taper $38 and a scissor cut $42. Kids twelve and under are $25. The whole menu is on this page and on the wall.

How often should I get a fade?

Every two to three weeks keeps a skin fade looking sharp. A taper or a classic cut lasts three to four. A $15 line-up in between stretches either one.

Can I request a particular barber?

Yes. Name the barber when you send a request, or ask for them when you walk in. If they are mid-cut we will tell you roughly how long.

Walk in Tuesday to Sunday, or tell us the cut and the time of day that suits you. A barber texts you back to agree a time.

Bots On Staff · you are looking at a demonstration

We built this one. The next one has your name on it.

What the chat on this page is doing

Ask what to get and it asks one thing first — how short you want the sides — then names the cut, its menu price and how long it takes. Mention a rash or a sore on the scalp and it says, kindly, to have a doctor look before the chair.

It takes a name and a number and hands it straight over. Nothing here is held, booked or confirmed, and it will not price the job.
