This is a demonstration

Harlow & Pike Barber Co. is not a real business. This site was built by Bots On Staff to show a barbershop what its own website and chat could look like. The address on this site is invented and reaches nobody; the telephone number is ours at Bots On Staff, so calling it reaches the people who built this site rather than a business that does not exist.

The chat and the request form

Nothing you type into the chat or the request form leaves this page. There is no server behind either one, and nothing is recorded or stored by this site.

On a real shop’s site

On a live site, a request would go to the shop’s front desk with your name, number and what you asked for, so a barber could text you back. It would be used for that and nothing else, and never sold.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and loads one thing from another website: an analytics script that counts which pages are visited and sets its own cookie, so Bots On Staff can see which demo pages people open.

What the chat on this page is doing

Ask what to get and it asks one thing first — how short you want the sides — then names the cut, its menu price and how long it takes. Mention a rash or a sore on the scalp and it says, kindly, to have a doctor look before the chair.

It takes a name and a number and hands it straight over. Nothing here is held, booked or confirmed, and it will not price the job.
