Brick-oven pizza in Clermont, stretched by hand

A family pizzeria on Sunward Hill Road since 2011. Dough made every morning, sauce from crushed tomatoes, and pies that come out of the oven blistered on top and charred underneath.

  • Open 7 days from 11am
  • Pickup & local delivery
  • Family-run since 2011

Dough made every morning

Mixed first thing, rested a full day, stretched by hand to order.

A brick oven

Pies bake on the stone floor, so the bottom chars and the crust still folds.

Mozzarella shredded here

Whole-milk, from the block, every day. Nothing pre-bagged.

How ordering works

Which size?

Twelve, sixteen or eighteen inches

An 18″ is more than twice the pizza of a 12″, for about eight dollars more. Drawn to scale, so you can see it.

  • 12″, 6 slices — one hungry adult, or two light eaters. Cheese $13.95.
  • 16″, 8 slices — three or four people. Cheese $18.95.
  • 18″, 8 big slices — four or five, or a family with leftovers. Cheese $21.95.

Why it tastes like that

A day-old dough, on purpose

Paul mixes the dough first thing every morning and it rests until the next day. That slow rest is where the flavour and the big, airy bubbles in the crust come from.

  • Crushed tomato, salt, garlic, basil. No sugar in the sauce.
  • Whole-milk mozzarella, shredded here from the block every day.
  • Baked on stone in the brick oven, so the bottom chars and still folds.
How Tomato Hill started

The counter helper

Questions answered, even at the Friday rush

Ask what’s on a pie, what a large costs, whether you deliver to Minneola, or what we can do about a nut allergy. It answers from this menu, and it hands anything it can’t answer to a person.

  • Prices straight off the menu. It cannot invent one.
  • Allergies go to the kitchen. It will not guess.
  • Orders are requests. A person calls back to read it back and give you a time.

My son has a tree-nut allergy. Is the pesto pie okay?

Our pesto is made with pine nuts, and it is made on the same bench as every other pie, so we cannot promise a nut-free kitchen. Please ask the kitchen before you order.

How much is a large margherita?

Margherita, 16″: $23.95. Crushed tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.

Scripted, and it says so. It writes down a request; a person at the counter calls you back.

Moved here from Long Island and had given up on finding a real slice. The crust here actually folds, and the bottom has char on it. The Grandma Square is now our Friday.

Ordered for my daughter’s softball team, twenty kids. Gina called back within ten minutes to go over it, and everything was ready and labelled when I walked in.

My son has a tree-nut allergy. Instead of just saying “sure”, they told me the pesto has pine nuts and walked me through what they do to keep it apart. That honesty is why we keep coming back.

Bots On Staff · you are looking at a demonstration

We built this one. The next one has your name on it.

What the chat on this page is doing

Ask about a nut allergy and it will not guess: the pesto is made with pine nuts on the same bench as every other pie, so it sends the question to a person in the kitchen. Ask what a 16-inch Margherita costs and it reads the price straight off the menu.

It takes a name and a number and hands it straight over. Nothing here is held, booked or confirmed, and it will not price the job.
