Northbound RV & Trailer is a demonstration shop. It has no customers, so it has no reviews, and we are not going to write some.
What sits here on a real site
No reviews to show
On a real build, this block pulls reviews live from the business’s own Google Business Profile and renders whatever is actually there — the good, the middling, and the count as it stands today. It is read-only and it updates itself.
This shop is fictional. It has no Google profile, no customers and no rating, so the feed has nothing to render and shows you its empty state instead.
That empty state is worth looking at properly, because it is the honest behavior of the component. A reviews block that never has an empty state is a reviews block with the quotes typed into the page by hand.
Our rule on this
- Reviews come from the platform that hosts them, live, or they do not appear.
- No quotes typed into the HTML. Not as placeholders, not “temporarily”.
- No star rating drawn on a page unless the feed put it there.
- No filtering out the bad ones. A feed you can curate is an advert.
- No invented customer names, initials, towns or vehicle models.
If you are looking at this as an example of our work: this page is the test. Anybody can build the page with the glowing quotes on it.
Judge it another way
Read the log instead
Until a shop has reviews you can verify, the useful thing to read is what it writes down — the measurements, the passes, and the jobs it turned away.
