What the day actually looks like

You dropped it off before work. You got back a car that had been proved, not promised.

Nobody buys a repair. They buy the end of a noise they have been listening to for three weeks — so here is the day it ends, told in your time rather than ours.

  1. 07:40

You describe the symptom, not the part

When it happens, how fast you were going, whether the engine is cold or warm. Two minutes at the desk, or through the chat on this page. Symptoms narrow the search faster than any scan tool, because the tool only reads what has already failed.

  2. 09:05

The code gets proved before it gets billed

P0301 names a circuit, not a broken part. The coil goes onto another cylinder and the misfire follows the coil — now it is a fact, and the fact is what reaches your estimate.

  3. 10:20

One line on your estimate reads $0.00

The rear brakes were measured against the manufacturer discard spec, found still inside it, written down and charged nothing. Approve all of the rest, some of it, or none of it — reply with a line number to decline that item. That line is a refusal, not an upsell held back for later.

  4. 15:40

It gets driven before you get it back

Every repair that changes how the car drives is road tested, and the result goes on your copy in the words the shop uses on its own order: road tested, no recurrence. A fix nobody drove is a hope.

  5. 15:55

The repair order goes home with the car

Codes, measurements, the figure they should have been, torque specs, part numbers, and the old parts themselves if you ask for them — including the line nobody sold you.

That is the whole product: a car you can stop thinking about — because the proof that it is fixed went home in your hand, not over the phone.

What you go home with

The repair order is the product.

Anyone can quote a number. This is the document that shows you why the number is what it is — and what we looked at and decided not to sell you.

Read the third line. The rear brakes were measured, found still inside the manufacturer discard spec, written down, and charged at nothing. That line is the whole argument for this shop.

Every job leaves with the codes we pulled, the readings we took, the figure they should have been, the parts we fitted, and the road test that proved it.

Bring this in

Oil change $45. Full synthetic $60.

Up to five quarts, most cars. The oil is the reason you came in — the inspection while it is on the lift is the reason people come back.

  • Oil to your manufacturer grade — conventional or full synthetic, up to 5 quarts
  • A new filter, every time — not just when it looks bad
  • Multi-point inspection on the lift — brakes, tires, belts, hoses, fluids
  • Tire pressures set, tread measured — in 32nds, written down
  • Fluids topped to the correct spec — and we tell you which ones

Most cars and light trucks, up to five quarts either way. Extra quarts, diesel, and the European engines that take a specific oil are priced separately — we tell you before we start, never after. Some engines must have full synthetic; if yours is one we will say so rather than put the wrong oil in it. One vehicle per visit.

How a repair goes

Five steps, and you approve the third one.

Most shops tell you the price. We show you the reason for it — the measurement, the spec it missed, and what happens if it waits.

  1. 01

    You describe the symptom

When it happens, how fast you were going, whether the engine is cold or warm. Symptoms narrow the search faster than any scan tool — the tool only reads what has already failed.

Two minutes at the desk, or through the chat on this page.

  2. 02

We pull codes and verify them

A stored code names a circuit, not a broken part. We reproduce the fault, test the circuit, and confirm the part before it reaches your estimate.

OBD-II scan, live data, and a road test where the fault needs speed or load.

  3. 03

You get the estimate in writing

Parts, labor hours and tax, itemized. Approve all of it, some of it, or none of it. Nothing is touched until you reply.

Sent by text or email. Reply with a line number to decline that item.

  4. 04

We do the work and document it

Torque specs, fluid grades, part numbers and the measurements we took all go on the order. Anything we found and did not expect is noted whether or not you paid for it.

Photos of anything you cannot see from the driver’s seat.

  5. 05

    Road test, then keys

Every repair that changes how the car drives gets driven before you get it back. The result is printed on your copy along with the warranty terms.

Warranty: written on your repair order, in months and miles

What we do

Repair, maintenance and body work, under one roof.

If it is not something we should do, we will tell you who should. We would rather send one job away than do it badly.

What customers say

Real reviews, pulled live. Not a wall of quotes we typed ourselves.

Reviews come straight from the shop’s Google profile through the review widget already running on the other sites — so they update themselves and every one is verifiable.

The shop

This is where the car actually goes.

Customers are handing over something they cannot afford to lose. Showing them the bay, the lift and the people is worth more than any adjective on this page.

A scuffed and cracked corner of a car bumper
Repair before replaceA scuff is a repair. We say so, and we price the repair first.

Repair, auto body and machine work all happen on this one site — which is why a job needing two of the three never leaves the building.

The chat takes the symptom and the vehicle, then hands it to the desk. It books appointments — it never tries to diagnose your car in a chat window.
