- Fills every 2 to 3 weeks

What you get
The one for length and shape
Acrylic is a liquid and a powder mixed into a bead on the brush, which is shaped over your nail and a tip or a form, and hardens in the air. It is the strongest of the three, which is why it is the one for real length.
We will be honest about length: a long stiletto looks beautiful, and it is not kind to someone who types all day. Tell us what you do with your hands and we will suggest a length that suits you.

Step by step
How a full set goes
- Prep. Cuticles tidied and the nail lightly buffed and cleaned.
- Tips or forms. Fitted to each nail and cut to your length.
- Acrylic. Shaped bead by bead, then filed to coffin, almond, square or stiletto.
- Colour. Regular polish, or gel for a longer shine.
After you leave
Keep it fresh with fills
Your nails grow, so after two to three weeks there is a gap at the cuticle. A fill closes it and rebalances the nail.
- A fill every two to three weeks, about an hour, $40.
- If a nail lifts, come in for a repair; water trapped under it is the problem.
- Use the pads of your fingers, not your nails, to open cans.
- Removal is by soaking: never pried off.

Questions
Acrylic full sets & fills: what guests ask
How long does a full set take?
About seventy-five minutes for a short set and ninety for medium or long. Detailed art adds to that.
Will acrylic ruin my nails?
Acrylic itself is not the problem; how it comes off is. We soak it off and lift it gently, and we never file your natural nail thin to make it grip.
Can I bring a photo of the shape I want?
Please do. Add it in the chat with the camera button, or show us on your phone when you arrive.
Acrylic or dip with tips?
For a little length, dip with tips is lighter. For real length, a sharp shape or a set you will keep for months, acrylic.
