Pedicures
Pedicures and spa pedicures in Winter Park
A clean, lined basin, careful work on nails and heels, and a massage you will not want to end. The spa pedicure adds a scrub, a mask and hot towels; the signature adds a paraffin wrap.
- A fresh liner in every basin
- No razors on your heels
- Tell us about diabetes first

What you get
Clean basins, careful hands
Our pedicure chairs have pipe-less basins, so there are no hidden jets to hold water. Each one gets a new disposable liner for every guest, and is cleaned and disinfected in between.
Calluses are softened and smoothed, never shaved with a blade. If you have diabetes, poor circulation or less feeling in your feet, please tell your technician before the soak: we keep the water warm rather than hot and nothing sharp goes near your skin.

Step by step
How a spa pedicure goes
- Soak. Warm water in a freshly lined basin.
- Nails and cuticles. Clipped, shaped and tidied with tools from a sealed pouch.
- Heels. Softened and smoothed with a single-use file, never shaved.
- Scrub, mask and massage. Then hot towels, and your colour.
After you leave
Let the polish set
Regular polish on toes takes a while to harden. If you are in a hurry, ask for gel on toes: it is dry when you stand up.
- Wear open sandals home; we have flip-flops if you forgot.
- Skip a hot bath or a pool for the rest of the day.
- Please don’t shave your legs the day of a pedicure.
- Gel on toes usually lasts four to six weeks.

Questions
Pedicures: what guests ask
I have diabetes. Can I still have a pedicure?
Yes, and we are glad you asked. Tell your technician before the soak: we use warm rather than hot water, we don’t cut skin or shave calluses, and we keep sharp tools away from the cuticle. If there is a cut or sore on your feet, please see your doctor first.
How do you clean the pedicure basins?
Each basin gets a new disposable liner for every guest, and the basin is cleaned and disinfected between guests. The basins are pipe-less, so there are no jets to hold water.
Do you treat thick or discoloured toenails?
A thick, yellowed or crumbling toenail can be a fungal infection, and that is for a doctor or a podiatrist. We won’t file it down or polish over it; once it has been treated, we can take care of the rest.
How long does a pedicure take?
About forty minutes for a classic, fifty-five for a spa pedicure and seventy for the signature.
