A guarantee is only worth what the sentence under it says. Ours is short, and the important half is the list of what it does not cover and why.

Thirty days on a cleared line the camera showed to be structurally sound. If a line we opened closes again within thirty days, and the run we recorded showed no defect capable of causing it, we come back and open it and there is no second charge. That is a real promise and it is one we can keep, because we looked before we made it.
A line with a known defect on the run sheet. If the camera showed an open joint, a belly, a collapse, a channelled cast-iron invert or a failed connection, we are not going to warrant the clearing. Not because we are protecting ourselves — because a guarantee on that line is a claim we know to be false at the moment we make it. The defect is written on your paperwork along with our honest estimate of how long the clearing buys you, and that estimate is the promise.
This is the single most common way a drain warranty is used dishonestly: offered loudly on a line the company knows will fail inside the period, priced with the return visits already in it, and used as the reason the customer stays rather than gets the pipe fixed.
A line we were not allowed to see. If the camera was declined, we have no basis for a promise and we will not invent one.
Foreign objects and what goes down afterwards. Wipes, hygiene products, toys, grease poured down a kitchen sink. No line clearing protects against what enters the pipe after we leave.
Anything upstream of a fixture we did not work on. Clearing a main does not warrant the branch lines hanging off it.
Excavated repairs and replacements carry a written warranty on the workmanship, given in writing on the quote before the work starts rather than described on a website. It states the period, what it covers, what it excludes and what happens to the surface above it. If a contractor will not put those four things on paper in advance, the length of the number they say out loud is not the useful part.
A warranty is a statement about what somebody expects to happen. Ours is short because we would rather tell you plainly that a clearing on your line buys three to five months than hand you a twelve-month guarantee we both know is priced for four visits.
That goes for us and for anybody else you call. The office will send the wording before anything is scheduled.
Scripted demonstration. It cannot book, hold or confirm a time, and it will not quote a price.
