Every visit

The yard card, on your phone before we leave — grass species, the height it was cut at, whether the blade was sharp, which irrigation zones ran, and the line we deliberately did not do, with the reason.

The company

Owner-run since 2015, the same crew on your property, and a card after every visit.

An electric lawn mower

The company was started in 2015 by its current owner, who still runs a route. That is why the cards look the way they do. Somebody who is coming back to your yard next Thursday writes down different things from somebody who is not.

The same crew on your property, on purpose

Rotating crews is the reason things get missed. A crew that has been to your yard before knows the wet corner, the sprinkler head hiding in the liriope, and the dog. It is also the only way anybody notices that something has changed since last week.

We would rather add a truck than add stops

Most companies in this trade grow by putting more properties on the same route until the visit is eight minutes long. That is why lawns get skipped in August and why nobody looks at the irrigation until something dies.

What we will always do

  • Cut at the height the species actually wants, and write the number down.
  • Check the blade, because a dull one tears rather than cuts.
  • Tell you what we did not do, and why.
  • Refuse to top a tree, however it is asked.
  • Say when the problem is the mowing rather than something we could sell you.
The crewA photograph of this company’s own crew and trucks goes here.
A property, keptThe same yard across a season, which is the only honest before-and-after in this trade.
The soil testThe sample and the reading it produced.

Deliberately empty. This is a demonstration company — it has no crew and no jobs, and a real landscaper’s photographs are his, not ours to borrow.

The chat takes what the yard is doing and the address, then hands it to the desk. It books walkthroughs — it never tries to diagnose a lawn in a chat window.
