Doors that stick, sag, rub or won’t latch, and cabinet doors that hang crooked. Almost always a hinge, a strike or a screw that’s lost its bite.
A door that won’t latch is almost never a bad door. The top hinge screws have lost their bite and the door has dropped an eighth of an inch, so the latch misses the strike. Longer screws into the framing, a moved strike or a shimmed hinge, and it closes with a click again.
Cabinets are the same story in miniature: a hinge adjusted, a stripped screw hole plugged and redrilled, a drawer slide replaced. Twenty minutes each, and the kitchen stops looking tired.

Can you replace my front door?
No. A new exterior door needs a permit in Florida, which makes it a licensed contractor’s job. Adjusting the one you have, new weatherstripping or a new lockset, is ours.
Do you rekey locks?
We swap locksets and deadbolts. Rekeying is a locksmith’s trade, and we’ll say so.
