Tree service — websites and AI staff

You are forty feet up with a saw running. Sunday's two photos get an answer before Tuesday.

A finished tree service site — press anything

Sable Ridge Tree Care is a company we invented, and built end to end.

Topping the oak — refused at $0.00, because ANSI A300 does not accept it as pruning and the tree never recovers from it.

The problem in tree service

The enquiry that actually pays is the quiet one. Somebody looks at the live oak leaning over their lanai on a Sunday evening in April, photographs it twice, and asks whether it should come down before the season starts. You are in a saddle with a running saw from Monday morning, so it sits until the crew is off the ropes on Tuesday afternoon — by which time they have had two other companies out to look at it. The storm work finds you whether you answer or not. The planned removals go to whoever replied.

What your AI staff does for tree service

How somebody in tree service actually gets found

It starts with a question typed at the worst possible hour.

  1. 01

    They type this

“is a leaning tree after a storm dangerous”

    Saturday morning

  2. 02

    Meanwhile, at your end

You are forty feet up with a saw running and the phone is in the truck.

  3. 03

What has to exist for you to be the answer

A real answer about root plates and targets — not “call us today for a free quote”. The honest answer is often that it is fine, and saying so is what gets a page quoted.

  4. 04

What we put in that path

    • A page that explains what a risk assessment assesses
    • The chat takes two photos and which side of the house
    • A work order that names what was refused, and why

Nobody can sell you a position in a search result or an AI answer. There is no ranking to buy and no slot to reserve — an assistant composes its answer fresh for every question. What can be done is all of step four: make the business legible, put the answers in plain text a crawler receives, and let every AI crawler in. We do that on every site we build, and we will not promise you the paragraph.

Why this package and not three suppliers

One build, one bill, and the website is yours whatever happens next.

What most businesses in this trade are running

  • Somebody who built the website, once, and moved on
  • Somebody else posting, if anybody is
  • Software that does not know either of them exist

Three relationships, three invoices, and nothing that carries a lead from the first to the third without a person retyping it.

What this is instead

  • The site, built new on your own name
  • The chat and the marketing that feed it
  • The crew, the schedule and the documents everyone signs

One build. The lead that arrives at nine at night is already on the screen you open in the morning, because it never left the system.

Whether it is worth it, in one division

$249 a month ÷ your gross profit per job = the extra jobs a month that pay for it

That is arithmetic on your number, not a promise about ours. We do not publish a recovery rate, because nobody can honestly know one — and the full price, the setup and the smaller door are all in the pricing panel below.

And if you ever stop, you keep your website. It is on your own domain, and it does not switch off because the subscription did.

The moment it earns its keep

A Sunday in April, 7:40pm. A homeowner sends two photos of a live oak leaning towards a pool cage and asks what it would take. The chat asks what is under the canopy and whether a truck can reach the back gate, and files it with both answers. You are off the ropes at four on Monday and open one screen: the photos, the access, the address, and the questions already answered. You book the look for Wednesday morning and quote it on the spot. The two companies she also messaged call her back on Tuesday.

Worth knowing

Where the line is, plainly — and what a photo genuinely cannot do. The staff, the photo intake, reviews, marketing and the website all run for a tree company today. ⛔ The shop-management platform is the part we do NOT sell you: it was built around cars in bays, and a crew, a chipper and a ropes job is a different animal. ⚠️ A PHOTO CANNOT PRICE A REMOVAL and we will not pretend otherwise. Species, diameter, lean, what is underneath, whether a crane is coming and where the debris goes are what decide the number, and none of that reads off a picture. What the photo does is TRIAGE — species, rough size, what is at risk — so you know which enquiry to open first and can give a range while you are still on the last job. ⚠️ And the storm surge is honest work but it arrives on the telephone, which our staff does not answer. What they answer is everything that comes in writing.

Your customers do not only get in touch during business hours — they get in touch when the problem happens. The lit strip is the shift that covers it.

Why customers notice this stuff · the numbers

The customers judging your trade already shop everywhere else online — their standard for answered-fast and looked-after was set by companies a thousand times your size.

MoneyA hire, an agency, a consultant — each one costs more than the problem seemed to.
TimeEvery one of these jobs loses to a car that needs to leave on Friday. Every time.
Know-howAds, SEO, review strategy — a second trade you were never asked if you wanted.
StressOne more open loop at 11pm. So it waited. That was the rational choice.

None of that was laziness — it was arithmetic. Doing this properly used to mean a hire or an agency. That's the arithmetic that changed:

ONE HIRE (mean US receptionist wage, BLS 2025)$39kALL 8 BOTS, YEAR ONE (SETUP INCLUDED)$7.2k · 18%

That is year one with the $2,995 setup in it; every year after is $4,188 — about 11%. Wage is the kindest comparison anyway: it leaves out payroll taxes, benefits and hiring. And we're not claiming a bot replaces a person; we're showing where the price sits. Both numbers are checkable.

Start here

See it on your own tree service business.

Tell us the name and a way to reach you. One of our specialists builds a short demo on your business and sends you the link — no card, and nobody rings you at dinner unless you ask them to.

No card, no password. Your details go to one person and nowhere else.

We build for these too

Plenty of tree services, arborists and storm crews run more than one of these. Same build, same staff, priced the same way.

Not sure which part is costing you most? Start from the problem instead — missed calls, slow estimates, wasted ad spend.

Built for AI search · on every site we build

Built to be read by the machines your customers now ask.

People do not only type into a search box any more — they ask ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Copilot, and an assistant can only repeat what a page actually says. So we build yours to be read: the answers rendered as plain text a crawler receives, real numbers instead of “contact us”, every AI crawler let in by name, and your own listings agreeing with each other. It is part of the build, not an add-on with a price on it.

And it is built on your own domain, in your own accounts — the part most businesses rent from somebody else. Owning it is the difference between running the marketing side of your business and being a passenger in it.

Do not get left behind by this. Be in front of it — and we walk you through the whole thing.
