How to get out.
Written plainly, because the shop that asks this question before buying is the one who has been burned before — and they deserve a straight answer rather than a clause.
There is no minimum term
Thirty days’ notice, any time. The setup is settled at checkout however you pay it, so it is month to month from the very first day — no minimum, unless you choose two months free in exchange for a year.
Nothing ties you in unless you ask for it. If the service is not worth the monthly fee, you stop paying it.
The one exception, and you choose it
Take two months free on any plan when you commit to a year — and if you leave early, you just repay the two free months.
It applies to any plan. The year includes the two free months — 2 free and 10 paid, not 12 paid on top. If you leave before the year is up, you repay the two free months and nothing else: we take back the discount you did not earn, and we do not bill you for months of a service you have stopped using.
Do not want a year? Then do not take the free months, and you are back to thirty days' notice like everybody else. The offer is a trade, not a condition of buying.
How to cancel
Email bots@botsonstaff.com or call (656) 236-2374. One line is enough — you do not have to give a reason, sit through a retention call, or find a form buried in a settings page. We will confirm in writing, and that confirmation is what starts the thirty days.
What you keep
The website is yours to keep, on your own domain. The management system and the marketing platform switch off with the service.
That is the part most people do not expect. The website was paid for by the setup fee and it is yours — we move it to you rather than switching it off. The management system and the AI staff are the subscription, and those stop.
The monthly plan
Your plan runs to the end of the thirty days' notice and then stops. We do not bill you after that and we do not charge a fee for leaving. Part-months are not pro-rated in either direction — the month you are in is the month you have had.
If the bots don’t post, answer and report every single week, that month is free. If that happens, tell us and we credit the month. We would rather you raise it than quietly decide we are not worth it.
The setup fee
The setup fee pays for building your website and installing the system — real hours, done for you and nobody else. Before we start, it is refundable in full, no questions. Once the build is underway it is not, because the work exists by then and you will be shown it.
If you paid over time at checkout rather than up front, the same applies, with one thing worth knowing: that payment plan is between you and the provider, not us. We are paid in full on day one either way, so a refund comes from us and your arrangement with them is settled separately.
If something goes wrong with a payment
Talk to us before your bank. A chargeback freezes the conversation and costs us both a fee, and we would always rather fix it by email. We answer bots@botsonstaff.com on working days.
Where this sits
This page covers cancelling and refunds. What each plan includes is on the pricing page, the terms for using this website are on the terms page, and what we do with your data is on the privacy page. Where a signed agreement exists, it wins over all of them.
