The customer photographs the damage and describes it in their own words. A real line-item estimate is drafted from both — every line carrying its operation, its hours and its rate, with repair, aftermarket and OEM priced side by side wherever the job can genuinely go more than one way. Then somebody reads it and decides.

It is calibrated on your shop before you use it

Your labor rate, your paint scale, the way you call repair-versus-replace, and the operations you always include that the next shop leaves off. An estimator trained on somebody else’s numbers drafts somebody else’s estimate. That calibration is done once, at the start, by a person — and it is part of the system rather than a fee on top.

What it does not do

Read this part before the rest. Every one of these is a thing a shop would otherwise find out in month two.

• It is not the final bill, and it does not pretend to be

  It drafts the estimate a shop would write from photographs. Supplements happen after teardown, and it runs under the final billed amount — because nothing that reads a photograph can see behind a bumper cover. Quote it as the final number and you eat the difference.

• No photographs, no estimate

  A request with no photos does not get one and cannot be sent. The customer is told plainly that we cannot price what nobody has seen. The chat still answers their questions — it just will not invent a number.

• It drafts. A person approves

  Nothing reaches a customer until somebody who fixes vehicles for a living has read it. That is not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards; it is why the drafts are worth having.

• It is not sold on its own

  Bare, it puts estimates in an inbox with no board to work them on and no phone to answer the reply. It comes as part of the full system, and there is no version of this you can buy by itself.
