Auto body shop Google Ads for the driver standing next to a dented car.
Running auto body shop Google Ads means showing your shop to a driver who has just hit a curb, a cart or another car and is searching from the parking lot. We set the account up in your name, tend it, and show you the numbers every day, and we cannot promise a call or a position.
In short. Auto body shop Google Ads show your shop to drivers searching for collision, dent, bumper or paint work near you. The ad leads to a page where the chat takes damage photos and your estimator approves the estimate. You pay the ad budget to Google yourself.
A stand-in picture of a busy shop, not a real customer's bays.

Six parts of a body shop account, from the search to the estimate.
A collision repair, a bumper scuff and a paint match are three different drivers with three different worries. The account keeps them apart and sends each one somewhere that answers.
Optional add-on
Collision, dent, bumper and paint, each its own ads
A driver after a crash types something other than a driver with a door ding. We build a separate group of ads for collision repair, dent repair, bumper repair and paint, so each search meets words that fit it.
Optional add-on
Paint matching, said plainly
Plenty of drivers worry that the new panel will not match the old. If your shop does paint matching, an ad and a page can say so in plain words, with your own finished work to show. We only say what the shop does.
Optional add-on
Customer-pay drivers searching from the parking lot
The driver who pays you directly is often on her phone right at the scene, looking for a shop nearby. The ads aim at that search, near your doors, and leave out searches that are not about repair.
Photo estimates are live
A landing page with the damage-photo chat
The ad leads to a page on your site, not the home page. There, the chat asks for photos of the damage, the make and the year. It answers day and night, hands the request to your shop, and never names a price.
Photo estimates are live
An estimator who approves every estimate
The chat does not write the number. A person at your shop reads the photos, makes the estimate and approves it before the driver sees it. The driver gets an answer from your shop, not from a machine.
Optional add-on
Your account, your card, your yes
The Google Ads account is opened in your name and the budget is charged to your card by Google. You say yes to the services, the area and the daily limit before anything starts, and again before it changes.
Questions shop owners type about Google Ads.
Is Google Ads worth it for an auto body shop?
It depends on your town and your competition. Where many drivers search for collision work and few shops answer, it may make sense. Where several shops bid hard on the same searches, being seen can cost more. We cannot promise a result.
How much should a body shop spend on Google Ads?
There is no single answer. It depends on the town, the service and how many other shops bid on the same searches. You choose a daily limit, you pay that budget to Google on your own card, and you can lower or stop it whenever you say so.
What is the difference between Google Ads and AdWords?
Google Ads, formerly AdWords, is the same thing under a new name: the way a shop pays to appear when a driver searches. It is separate from your Business Profile listing, which is not paid for. Many shops use one, the other, or both.
Do the ads send drivers to my home page?
No. Each ad leads to a page built for that search, such as a bumper repair page, with the photo chat on it. The chat takes photos of the damage, a person at your shop approves the estimate, and the chat never names a price.
Four steps, and your estimator stays in the loop.
A body shop runs on estimates, parts and paint schedules. The ads fit around that, so the order is the same every time: we prepare, you agree, we run, you look.
- Step
We set it up with you
You tell us the repairs you want more of, the ones you do not do, the area you serve and how many estimates your team can handle. We open the account in your name and write the ads in plain words.
- Step
You say yes
You read the ads, the landing pages and the daily limit, and you add your card at Google. Nothing starts until you say yes, and we ask again before we change the services, the area or the limit.
- Step
It runs, and we tend it
We watch which searches brought clicks, block the ones that did not fit, and turn services up or down with your shop's schedule. When the bays are full, tell us and we lower the limit.
- Step
You see it every day
Your dashboard shows your ad spend, clicks and keywords, updated every day, and you can look at them day by day or across any date range. Estimates asked for through the chat reach your estimator, and you can read each one.
What nobody can promise, and what we do.
Body shops hear a lot of loud promises about leads. We will not add to them. Here is the straight version.
A promised phone call
We cannot promise calls, estimates, jobs, a position or a return. Your town, the weather and the other shops bidding decide those. What we do is the setup, the tending and a daily view you can check yourself.
Your budget goes to Google
The ad budget goes from your card to Google, not through us. Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google.
The account is yours
It is opened in your name, on your card, with your history. If you ever stop working with us, the account stays yours. We do not hold it, and we do not hide it from you.
Nothing starts without your yes
Your yes comes before the first ad and before each change to services, area or daily limit. Google Ads is an optional add-on. Pause it or stop it and the ads stop.
See your own shop's home page before you pay anything.
- Tell us the shop nameAnd a way to reach you. No card, no password.
- We hand-build itIn 12 to 48 hours, with the photo-estimate chat on it.
- You look at it, then decideIf you want the rest, we build it. If not, you owe nothing.

Your trade: Auto body & collision
Straight answers.
Do auto body shops need Google Ads?
Not always. Many shops live on repeat customers and referrals from other trades. Ads are for the owner who wants to reach a driver who is choosing a shop right now. They are an optional add-on, and we make no promise about what they bring.
What is set up in an auto body Google Ads account?
The area you serve, a group of ads for each kind of repair, such as collision, dents, bumpers and paint, the search words that suit them, the words to block, a landing page for each and a daily limit. You read all of it before it starts.
How does the photo chat fit with the ads?
The ad leads to a page where the chat asks for photos of the damage. The request reaches a person at your shop, who reads the photos and approves the estimate. The chat never names a price. That all runs today for body shops.
What does it cost to have you run my ads?
Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google. Month to month, 30 days' notice, any time. Setup paid once.
Who owns the Google account?
You do. It is opened in your name and charged to your card. We run it for you with the access you give us. If you decide to stop, the account and its history stay yours, and you can take it to another person.
Can I turn the ads down when the bays are full?
Yes, and you should. When the shop is full, tell us and we lower the daily limit or pause a service. When you have room again, we turn it back up. You decide how much work the ads should ask for.
How do I know what the ads are doing?
You see spend, clicks and keywords in your dashboard, updated every day, and you can look at any date range. We do not tell you a ranking is proof. A click is a click, and a repair order is something you know about.
Will the ads work with the way my shop handles insurance?
The ads are aimed at drivers who choose their own shop and pay it directly. We make no claim about insurance work, and a web page cannot change what an insurer decides. You tell us the work you want, and we aim at that.
