The problem · and what actually changes

Quotes that sit for days

Estimates sit because writing one is a focused job and the shop is full of interruptions — so they slide to the end of the day and then to tomorrow. A photo estimate changes the order of work: the customer sends pictures, the software drafts the estimate from the visible damage, and the estimator’s job becomes checking and correcting a draft rather than starting from a blank page. The approval step stays human.

What it looks like in a shop

  • A folder of photos you have not got to yet.
  • Customers ringing to ask where their number is.
  • Estimates written at 8pm because that is the only quiet hour.
  • Jobs lost to whichever shop answered first, not whichever was cheapest.

What we won't claim

A photo estimate is not a teardown and does not find hidden damage — no photo can. It is a fast first number, not a final one, and any shop telling you otherwise is setting up a supplement argument later.

Whose job this is

The Quoter

  1. Step 1

    The customer sends photos

From the chat on your site, on their phone, without an app or a login.

  2. Step 2

It reads the damage and drafts the estimate

Panels, operations and the not-included items that get forgotten under time pressure.

  3. Step 3

You check it and it goes out — or it does not

It is a draft for an estimator, not an answer to a customer. Nothing reaches them without your approval.
