The problem · and what actually changes

Paying every month for a site that never rings

The reason this feels impossible to judge is that most website arrangements report activity rather than outcome — visits, impressions, a dashboard — none of which is a job. The question worth answering is narrower: in the last ninety days, how many people contacted you through the site, what did they want, and what happened to them. If nobody can answer that from the thing you are paying for, that is the finding. And before you replace it, find out who holds the domain, who is primary owner on the Google profile, and whether the site leaves with you — because that determines whether you are choosing or trapped.

What it looks like in a shop

  • A monthly invoice, and you could not say what it bought this month.
  • Reports full of impressions and sessions, and no list of people who got in touch.
  • You are not sure whether you or the agency owns the domain.
  • Changing a phone number on the site means emailing somebody and waiting.
  • The last time anything on it changed, you cannot remember.

What we won't claim

We cannot tell you that a new website will win you work, and we will not put a number on it. What we can do is make the current one answerable: how many people got in touch, and what they wanted. If your existing site is already doing that and you can see it, keep it — we will say so.

Whose job this is

The Reporter

  1. Step 1

Every inquiry lands somewhere you can count

Name, number, what they asked and when — filed, not just emailed. A month with four inquiries and a month with forty look different on a screen instead of in a feeling.

  2. Step 2

A monthly number you did not have to ask for

What came in, what it cost, and what happened to it. Sent to you rather than sitting behind a login you will not open.

  3. Step 3

And the things that decide whether you are stuck

The domain is registered in your own account. You are primary owner on your Google profile and we are a manager you can remove. The site is yours and stays up if you leave.

What it costs you now
