A roofing website, built end to end.

Every page below is live. Halyard Roofing is a company that does not exist — we built it end to end so you can press things instead of reading about them. Yours would be built the same way, on your own name.

Why roofing businesses run this

The ceiling stain gets photographed at eleven at night. Somebody should be answering that.

A brown ring appears on a bedroom ceiling during a squall line and it gets photographed immediately, because the homeowner is standing under it wondering how bad this is. That message goes out at eleven at night to whoever they can find, and the first company to say something sensible gets the tarp and usually the repair. You were on a roof all day and you are asleep. In the morning there are four messages and no way to tell which one is a leak that is still running and which one is a stain from a storm in June.

Where the line is, for roofing: Bots ready today · retail work · marketing plan only. Where the line is, and it matters more in this trade than any other on this site. ⛔ THIS IS BUILT FOR RETAIL WORK — repair, maintenance and re-roof paid by the customer. It is NOT built for insurance-claim roofing, and our marketing staff will not write claim solicitation for you: Florida law treats a written or electronic communication that encourages a consumer to make a roof-damage insurance claim as a prohibited advertisement, and that is a line we will not walk up to on your behalf. ⛔ The shop-management platform is also the part we do NOT sell you — it was built around cars in bays. ⚠️ And a photo CANNOT price a re-roof. Squares, pitch, layers, the state of the decking and what the code now requires decide that, and it is measured, not photographed. What the photo does is triage a leak — running now, or a stain from last month — which is the difference between a tarp tonight and a call back on Thursday.

The best line on the front page

An overlay — a second layer of shingles over the old ones — declined at $0.00, because it hides a deck nobody has looked at.

And the number this trade usually hides

Deck re-nailing to code (8d ring-shank at 6in on center) and how many nails go in a shingle, in the strip where they hold.

Why it looks like that: A field report — dark slate, condensed headlines, a numbered index instead of cards. Every trade here gets its own structure, not the same page in a different color — which is the whole difference between a website and a template.
