Handyman · Google Ads
Google Ads for handyman crews for the long list of small jobs.
Running handyman Google Ads means showing your name to a homeowner who has a door that sticks, a shelf to hang or a faucet that drips, and who wants someone this week. We set the account up in your name, run it, and show you the numbers every day, and we cannot promise a call or a position.
In short. Handyman Google Ads show your name to people searching for the small jobs you take, inside the area you drive. We set up the account in your name, tend it, and show you spend and clicks every day. You pay the ad budget to Google yourself.
A stand-in picture: one shelf, one door, one more job off a long list.

Six parts of a handyman account, built around the jobs you want.
A handyman does a hundred small things, and nobody searches for all of them at once. The account is cut into the jobs you like to take, one small piece at a time.
Optional add-on
Your small-job list, one job at a time
Hanging a TV, patching drywall, fixing a gate, swapping a light fixture: people search for the single job. We build a small group of ads for each job on your list, so each search meets a matching ad.
Optional add-on
Jobs you do not want, kept out
If you do not do roofing, electrical panels or whole-house remodels, a search for them is wasted money. We list those words as ones to block, and we check the search reports to catch new ones.
Optional add-on
Same-week fixes, ready for the person in a hurry
Some searches say now, like a door that will not lock tonight. The ad can say you take short-notice jobs, but only if that is true for your calendar. You tell us which days you can answer.
Optional add-on
Your service area, drawn on the map
A handyman lives and dies by drive time. We aim the ads at the towns and the neighborhoods you will really reach in a day, and leave the far ones out, so the ad never sends you across the county for one hinge.
We can build it
A page that matches the job
An ad about fixing a sticking door should land on a page about doors, with a clear way to ask for a visit. If your site needs a page like that, we can build it with the website plan.
Optional add-on
Your account, your card, your yes
The Google Ads account is opened in your name and the budget is charged to your card by Google. You say yes to the jobs, the area and the daily limit before anything starts, and again before it changes.
Questions handymen type about Google Ads.
Is Google Ads worth it for a handyman?
It depends on your town and your competition. If many people search for small repairs near you and few handymen answer, it may be worth a try. If your calendar is already full from referrals, you may not need it. We cannot promise a result.
How much should a handyman spend on Google Ads?
There is no single answer. It depends on the town, the jobs you want and how many other handymen bid on the same searches. You choose a daily limit, you pay that budget to Google on your own card, and you can lower or stop it at any time.
What is the difference between Google Ads and AdWords?
Google Ads, formerly AdWords, is the same thing under a new name: the way a business pays to show up when someone searches. It is separate from your Business Profile listing, which is not paid for. You can have one, the other, or both.
Can I only get the jobs I actually want?
We can aim at them. We write ads for the jobs on your list and block the words for the jobs you do not take. Nobody can promise that every call will be the right one, but the search reports show us what to cut next.
Four steps, no surprises in any of them.
You are busy with a ladder in your hand, not a screen. So the order is simple: we prepare, you agree, we run, you look when you like.
- Step
We set it up with you
You give us your job list, the jobs you refuse, the area you drive and the days you can answer a short-notice call. We open the account in your name and write the ads in plain words.
- Step
You say yes
You read the ads, the area and the daily limit, and you add your card at Google. Nothing starts until you say yes, and we ask again before we change the jobs, the area or the limit.
- Step
It runs, and we tend it
We read which searches brought clicks, block the ones that wasted money, and trim or add jobs as your calendar changes. If your week is full, tell us and we turn it down.
- Step
You see it every day
Your dashboard shows your ad spend, clicks and keywords, updated every day, and you can look at them day by day or across any date range. If something looks wrong to you, say so and we change it.
What nobody can promise, and what we do.
Small jobs make a busy week, and ads cannot change the weather or your neighbors' budgets. Here is the plain version.
A promised phone call
We cannot promise calls, jobs, a position or a return. Your town, the season and the other handymen decide those. What we do is the setup, the tending and a daily view you can check yourself.
Your budget goes to Google
The ad budget goes from your card to Google, not through us. Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google.
The account is yours
It is opened in your name, on your card, with your history. If you ever stop working with us, the account stays yours. We do not hold it, and we do not hide it from you.
Nothing starts without your yes
Your yes comes before the first ad and before each change to jobs, area or daily limit. Google Ads is an optional add-on. Pause it or stop it and the ads stop.
See your own business's home page before you pay anything.
- Tell us the business nameAnd a way to reach you. No card, no password.
- We hand-build itIn 12 to 48 hours, with the website chat on it.
- You look at it, then decideIf you want the rest, we build it. If not, you owe nothing.

Your trade: Handyman
Straight answers.
Do handymen need Google Ads?
Not always. Many handymen stay busy on referrals and repeat customers. Ads are for the one who wants to be found by people searching for a repair right now. They are an optional add-on, and we make no promise about what they bring.
What is set up in a handyman Google Ads account?
The area you drive, a small group of ads for each job on your list, the search words that suit them, the words to block, and a daily limit. You read all of it before anything starts, and you can change it.
Can I turn the ads down when I am busy?
Yes, and you should. If your week is full, tell us and we lower the daily limit or pause a job. When you have room again, we turn it back up. You decide how many hours of the week the ads serve.
What does it cost to have you run my ads?
Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google. Month to month, 30 days' notice, any time. Setup paid once.
Who owns the Google account?
You do. It is opened in your name and charged to your card. We run it for you with the access you give us. If you decide to stop, the account and its history stay yours, and you can take it to another person.
Will the ads send me too far from home?
They should not. We set the area with you and keep the ads inside it, then read where the clicks came from. If a far-off town sneaks in, we remove it and tell you. You decide the miles you are willing to drive.
How do I know what the ads are doing?
You see spend, clicks and keywords in your dashboard, updated every day, and you can look at any date range. We do not tell you a ranking is proof. A click is a click, and a customer is something you know about.
Can the ad send people a chat that takes photos of the repair?
Not today. Photo intake for repairs is something we can build, and we would talk it through with you first. Right now the ad sends people to a page on your site with a clear way to ask for a visit.
