Landscaping Google Ads for the lawn that needs a crew this week.

Running landscaping Google Ads means showing your company to a homeowner who is searching for a mowing crew, a spring clean-up or a new mulch bed in your town. We set the account up in your name, tend it, and show you the numbers every day, and we cannot promise a call or a position.

In short. Landscaping Google Ads put your lawn care and landscape work in front of people searching in the towns you serve. We set up the account in your name, tend it, and show you spend and clicks every day. You pay Google the ad budget yourself.

A stand-in picture: the finished bed a homeowner hopes to see before she calls.

01 What we set up and run

Six parts of a lawn and landscape account, built around your calendar.

A mowing route and a patio job are not the same customer. The account is split the way your work is split, so the right ad meets the right search in the right town.

  • Optional add-on

Weekly mowing, kept apart from one-off jobs

Weekly mowing is a standing job and a one-off clean-up is a single visit. They are searched differently, so each gets its own group of ads and its own words, so a search for a weekly crew is not answered with a one-day job.

  • Optional add-on

Spring and fall clean-ups, timed to the season

Leaf removal, spring clean-ups and mulch beds come in waves. We set the ads to follow your calendar, so they lean toward clean-ups when the yards need them and ease off when your crew is already full.

  • Optional add-on

Only the towns you really mow

Your ads are aimed at the towns and neighborhoods your trucks can reach in a working day, and kept away from the ones they cannot. A long drive for one small lawn eats the day.

  • Optional add-on

Searches that mean a job, not a hobby

Someone searching for a lawn care company is a different person from someone searching how to fix brown patches. We add the words that show a person who wants to pay for the work, and block the ones from do-it-yourselfers and job seekers.

  • We can build it

A page that matches the ad

An ad about weekly mowing should land on a page about weekly mowing in that town, with a clear way to ask for a visit. If your site needs that page, we can build it with the website plan.

  • Optional add-on

Your account, your card, your yes

The Google Ads account is opened in your name and the budget is charged to your card by Google. We ask your yes on the towns, the work and the daily limit before anything starts, and again before anything changes.

People ask

Questions lawn pros type about Google Ads.

Is Google Ads worth it for a lawn care business?

It depends on your town and your competition. Where many homeowners search for a mowing crew and few companies answer, it can make sense. Where every truck already runs ads, being seen can cost more. We cannot promise a result, and we tell you plainly what we see.

How much should a landscaper spend on Google Ads?

There is no single answer. It depends on the town, the season and how many other companies want the same searches. You choose a daily limit, you pay that budget to Google on your own card, and you can lower it or stop it whenever you say so.

Is Google Ads the same as the AdWords I heard about?

Yes. Google Ads, formerly AdWords, is the way a company pays to appear when someone searches, such as a homeowner looking for a lawn crew. It is separate from your Business Profile, the listing with your map pin and reviews, which is not paid for. The two sit side by side.

Can I show my ads only in the towns I mow?

Yes. You pick the towns and the neighborhoods, and we keep the ads inside them. We can also lean the ads toward clean-ups in spring and fall, or away from a job you are tired of. You say where and what, and the account follows.

02 From yes to a daily view

Four steps, and you stay in charge of each.

Ads are only useful if you understand them. So the order is the same every time: we prepare, you agree, we run, you look.

  1. Step

We set it up with you

You tell us the work you want, the towns you cover and the weeks you are already full. We open the account in your name and write the ads and the search words in plain language.

  2. Step

    You say yes

You read the ads, the towns and the daily limit, and you add your card at Google. Nothing starts until you say yes, and we ask again before any change to the work, the towns or the limit.

  3. Step

It runs, and we tend it

We watch the searches that bring clicks, block the wasted ones, and move the ads with the season, from clean-ups in spring to leaf work in fall. When something is off, we change it.

  4. Step

    You see it every day

Your dashboard shows your ad spend, clicks and keywords, updated every day, and you can look at them day by day or across any date range. If a number looks wrong to you, say so and we look at it with you.

03 The straight part

What nobody can promise, and what we do.

Lawn season is busy and noisy, and plenty of people will promise you the world. Here is the straight version.

  • A promised phone call

We cannot promise calls, jobs, a position or a return. The weather, your town and the other crews bidding decide those. What we do is the setup, the tending and a daily view you can check yourself.

  • Your budget goes to Google

The ad budget goes from your card to Google, not through us. Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google.

  • The account is yours

It is opened in your name, on your card, with your history. If you ever stop working with us, the account stays yours. We do not hold it, and we do not hide it from you.

  • Nothing starts without your yes

Your yes comes before the first ad and before each change to towns, work or daily limit. Google Ads is an optional add-on. Pause it or stop it and the ads stop.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do landscapers and lawn care companies need Google Ads?

No. Plenty of crews fill their routes from referrals and signs on trucks. Ads are for the owner who wants to be seen by homeowners searching right now, in a season when searches rise. They are an optional add-on, and we make no promise about what they bring.

What is set up in a landscaping Google Ads account?

The towns you serve, a group of ads for each kind of work, such as weekly mowing, clean-ups and beds, the search words that suit them, the words to block, and a daily limit. You read all of it before it starts.

Can the ads follow my busy and slow weeks?

Yes. When your crew is full, we can lower the daily limit or pause a type of job. When a season opens, such as leaf clean-up, we turn that work up. You tell us the weeks, and we adjust the account to them.

What does it cost to have you run my ads?

Setup is $299 once and management is $249 a month; the ad budget is separate and goes to Google. Month to month, 30 days' notice, any time. Setup paid once.

Who owns the Google account?

You do. It is opened in your name and charged to your card. We run it for you with the access you give us. If you decide to stop, the account and its history stay yours, and you can take it to another person.

Will my ads show up in towns I do not serve?

They should not. We pick the towns with you and set the account to stay inside them, then read the reports of where the clicks came from. If a town you do not serve shows up, we fix it and tell you.

How do I know what the ads are doing?

You see spend, clicks and keywords in your dashboard, updated every day, and you can look at any date range. We do not tell you a ranking is proof. A click is a click, and a customer is something you know about.

Does the ad send people to a chat that takes photos of their yard?

Not today. Photo intake for a yard is something we can build, and we would talk it through with you first. Right now the ad sends people to a page on your site with a clear way to ask for a visit.
