Jet ski rental website design: Riders ask at 11pm. The chat takes the request.

He wants a jet ski for Saturday. The chat drafts a rental request with riders and ages for your crew.

Rooster Tail Jet Ski Co. is a sample jet ski rental we invented. Its whole website is in the frame below, and every page works.

Rooster Tail Jet Ski Co.

How it works

How the chat works, in four steps.

From a rider's thumb to the dock's inbox. The spray is optional; the request is tidy.

  1. The chat

    A rider taps the chat.

Illustration: a guest taps a chat button on her phone at the jet ski dock while her oversized life vest rides up to her ears and the host stifles a laugh.
  2. A few taps

It asks who rides, and their ages.

Illustration: the guest types on her phone while three abstract question bubbles float above it and the host raises an eyebrow in approval.
  3. The request

The spray is optional. The briefing is not.

Illustration: the host in reading glasses admires a neat abstract request card on a tablet while the guest looks on, pleased.
  4. The reply

A person confirms by email or a call.

Illustration: the host gives a thumbs-up and the guest leaps for joy so high her life vest rides up over her head.

A day at the dock

A day at the dock.

What the chat does while the crew is busy with vests and paperwork.

  1. Coral and lime jet skis lined up at the dock in the first light.

    Morning at the dock.

The crew lays out vests and reads the overnight requests. Each has riders, ages and notes.

  2. A phone showing a chat, held on a dock beside a coral jet ski.

    A rider has questions.

At night the chat answers about rules, weather and what to wear, from the crew's own notes.

  3. New ride requestRide · dates · riders · ages · drivers

    The request lands.

One email with the ride, the date, the riders and who would drive. A person replies.

  4. Lime life vests on the dock rail, ready for check-in.

    Check-in.

Paperwork and briefing first. The chat's job was done hours ago.

Local detail

Local facts, named and sourced.

A site built for your river says what is true about it. The sample's Areas page uses these three, each with its source.

The front page

Its front page carries eight options with the length on every card, the rules posted at check-in, and a briefing before the key.

The line worth reading

Can the chat tell us who may drive? “No. Age and boating-safety ID rules are posted at check-in, and the crew checks them there.” The chat counts the ages and the drivers, prices nothing and holds no date.

Why it looks like that: Midnight and Volt Lime, cut on a slant: a hero picture on a diagonal, a dock-board track for check-in, ride cards with a slanted edge, a lime sign for the rules and a strip of the seven places the river runs through. Every site we build gets its own structure, not the same page in another colour.

What it does

What it does for jet ski and watercraft rental companies.

Two friends seen from behind ride a jet ski across turquoise water with a small wake. A photo from Rooster Tail Jet Ski Co., the sample jet ski rental website.
  • The chat on the site drafts a rental request: which ride, a day and a backup, how many riders and machines, their ages and who would like to drive, and a name and a way to reach them, around the clock.
  • Nothing is booked, held, priced or promised over chat, and it never checks an ID or decides who may drive: the rules are posted at check-in, and a person at the dock reads every request and confirms by email or a call.
  • A website on your own name, with every ride on its own page, the briefing explained and your own river's facts, that you keep whatever happens next.

Questions

Straight answers.

What pages does a jet ski rental website need?

This one has 7 pages, including rentals and rides, the crew, questions, areas, request a ride. Yours is planned around your own services and towns: a page for each service you want to be found for, and the questions your customers ask before they get in touch.

What does the chat do when a guest asks about renting a jet ski?

It drafts a rental request: which ride, a day and a backup, how many riders and machines, their ages and who would like to drive, and a name and contact. A person at the dock reads it and confirms by email or a call. It never prices a ride, takes a payment, holds a date, checks an ID or decides who may drive, and it does not text.

Will a jet ski rental website help me get found on Google?

It is built to be found: every service on its own page, titles and descriptions written the way people search, your towns named, and structured data that search engines read. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we do not.

Is Rooster Tail Jet Ski Co. a real company?

No. It is a sample business we invented, and so are its address and the job numbers on its paperwork. Every page says so: in its footer, and on its own address in a strip across the top. The telephone number on it is ours, so if you ring it you reach us.

What does a jet ski rental website cost?

Two separate parts. The website is paid once: 5-page website $1,195, 10-page website $1,895, Complete custom build $2,995. Then a monthly package: Mini is $49 a month with no bots; with the chat answering and every enquiry sent to you, Starter is $149 a month; Growth, with every bot on staff, is $249 a month. Or have our team do it all: Platinum Service, $949 a month. It is everything in Growth, with our people writing and publishing your posts, working on your SEO, answering your reviews and keeping the site running, plus a report every month. Every price is on this page.
