Swapping the living-room ceiling fan — referred to a licensed electrician at $0.00, because in Florida even connecting two wires for pay takes a license.
And the number this trade usually hides: Florida’s $2,500 line: the minor-work exemption stops at $2,500 in labor and materials, and a list is never split into smaller invoices to stay under it.
Why it looks like that: A legal pad — pad-yellow ground, blue rules, a red margin, and a punch list with the minutes down the right. Every site we build gets its own structure, not the same page in another colour.

What pages does a handyman website need?

What does the chat do with a long job list?
It takes the list one line at a time and sorts each line: yours, a licensed trade's, or one you look at first. Nothing is priced over chat, and it never splits a list to stay under the state's limit.
Can I list my work without calling myself a contractor?
Yes: say handyman, list the small jobs you take and name the licensed trade for the rest. Florida's minor-work exemption (s. 489.103) is not available to anyone who advertises as a contractor, and the demo's pages never do.
Will a handyman website help me get found on Google?
It is built to be found: every service on its own page, titles and descriptions written the way people search, your towns named, and structured data that search engines read. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we do not.
Is Chalkline Handyman a real company?
No. It is a sample business we invented, and so are its address and the job numbers on its paperwork. Every page says so: in its footer, and on its own address in a strip across the top. The telephone number on it is ours, so if you ring it you reach us.
